Take a look at these pictures. In the first three, you can easily recognize the dashboards of a car, a boat and an airplane. All of these gauge clusters are being used to control complicated systems. To operate properly, these systems need to be regulated. Therefore, a lot of parameters need to be measured and controlled. Imagine a human organism as a complicated system, which is many times more complicated than the systems mentioned above. Does this system, the human organism, need to be regulated too? Well, some may say “It doesn’t need to be regulated because it’s self-regulated”. True, but what if the self-regulation is not effective enough? In this case, some external action would be reasonable. It can be a change in diet, a change in lifestyle, taking medication etc. Do we have a similar cluster of gauges to control our body? Everyone can recall different tests that he or she has been asked to undergo by the doctor. Yes, there are plenty of very sophisticated technologies of diagnostics and they will definitely help you and your doctor. But how will they help? They can only determine whether you are sick, and if so, identify your disease. However, what if you are not sick yet but only on the way? Here we can refer to picture number 4. You are not sick, but how healthy are you? How can you measure your health levels? That’s what the QH-project is all about.
The idea of assessing personal health levels is not exactly new. Actually, in the past, it was mostly for people working under specific conditions such as airplane pilots, astronauts, professional athletes etc. There were also attempts to examine ordinary people in order to prevent some diseases. While the first group needed special complicated laboratories, the second group needed some quizzes and medical consultations. With the first group, the major task was not just health assessment but more importantly, the evaluation of one’s ability to execute special functions. The health screening of ordinary people, although considered innovative at the time, turned out to be ineffective in the long run. There was a cynical joke that the last procedure of the health screening process was an autopsy. Many years have passed since then, a lot of things have happened, and new theoretical concepts have been implemented. Most important technologies have achieved very impressive results but a quantified assessment of personal health levels is still not available for ordinary people. The synergy of these factors prompted us to launch the “Quantify your health” or “Quantihealth” project a few years ago.
Core ideas of our philosophy:
1)We measure your health levels whether you are healthy or sick. We don’t consider disease to be the opposite of health. We ask the question, “How healthy you are?”. We measure your health levels and interpret them based on risk assessment.
2)We believe in and practice the personal approach only. Long term self-measurements taken by every individual involved in the QH program create personal profiles. The personal profile is more important for the individual than a statistical average.
3)We have developed a special platform, “HomeLab”, which makes it possible to use different medical technologies with a common basis.
4)The key element of this project is the partnership between the QH-project and the individual participants. The problem of health measurement isn’t easy to solve. We have to work together to achieve a better result; intensive involvement of the participants is the only way to make the QH-project a reality. This participant involvement in the QH-project means deeper involvement in the general process of personal health control. Your goal + our goal = our mutual goal. We need this synergy to reach this mutual goal.
5) We are creating new entities: our QH project is the keystone of the future development of real personal health control and management.

The current level of information technology makes our ideas feasible without excessive resources. The only excessive resource we need is enthusiastic people to work with our technologies. The club of supporters of our ideas is an essential part of the QH-project. Creating and fostering a community of enthusiastic like-minded people is a difficult but necessary task. With the members of this community, the club will make a breakthrough in the implementation of our ideas and technologies. If this is interesting to you, please register or at least subscribe to our newsletter (at the bottom of the page).
What makes our club special is that anyone can join the club with no limits. We have made our technologies accessible to everyone. We have made them reliable and easy to use. Our technologies have simple instructions which are understandable to any person. There are no limits for seniors. Basic computer skills would be a benefit, but not having them isn’t an obstacle. If the technologies here are easy to use, the information gathered and especially its analysis is not just a piece of cake. Our background and our expertise offer you solutions that you’ve never had before. And you can contribute to these solutions. As a member of the club, you will have access to our ideas, knowledge, and innovative technologies, which we will gladly share with you. We will share with you our vision of the future in this area, something that no one else will do. Active club members will have a number of formal benefits, which are described in Club Membership section.
